I think he did because this hover feature is added recently, and why would they do that if they wouldn’t add it in the new designs as well? Unless it’s AB testing of some sort.

I agree with you and sometimes had the same feeling.
It all boils down to whether it’s more likely that you consequently log in (and from there have more probability to make a trade) or on the contrary give up.
Considering it requires development time and no real answer to the above question, it’s probably best to leave it as is for now. Wdyt ?
